Decorating Pumpkins

I found lots of Fancy Pumpkin Crafts, but nothing beats painting at our house. I guess they’ve seen mommy and daddy do so much of it, they think it’s a part of daily life! We love chalkboard paint on pumpkins! The fun can last all month long…a simple wipe with a damp paper towel and your kids can create over and over again!!!

We also put a chalkboard pumpkin on the mantle as we countdown for Halloween. Have you seen my mantle post!?! Here are a few other ideas…all pretty simple and would look great on a mantle, front porch or bedroom dresser!!! Be sure to let the kids help ~ they’ll love their home even more!

I luv chalk board paint! This is great!
I just learned about chalk ink this week! Where have I been? Haha 
I will have to start buying it. 
As a little sidenote, my kids will practice Math facts or their handwriting if I paint a random household item (like a small dollar-store fake-silver serving tray) with chalkboard paint! Haha.
love the idea of chalboard paint! the pumpkin countdown is my favorite, wish I’d thought of this before for my little guy that kept asking how many days were left! Next year!!

I love the idea of creating chalkboard pumpkins! I have 3 grandchildren that will be decorating their pumpkins this weekend. What a great idea! I can’t wait to see them writing on their chalkboard pumpkins with chalk.
