Features: Overflowing with Creativity #1

December 27, 2011 by 6 Comments

I could hardly stand it last week’s Overflowing with Creativity was full of the most amazing projects and tasty treats!  You, my sweet linky friends, are totally the BEST!  Here are a couple of highlights…and at the bottom of the post is a link to all of the projects because truly you don’t want to miss a single one!

Ashley from A {Blonde’s} DIY Life is SUPER inspiring with her fabulous picture collage and coordinating pillows and rug!

Sarah Kate from Nothing But Blue Skies
shared three gorgeous kitchen inspirations.  And then the amazing
details and beautiful pictures of her kitchen remodel!  Her story
totally is unreal!
My Bloggy BFF, Jaimie from Crafty, Scrappy, Happy let us peek into her beautiful kitchen filled with tons of texture, upcycled furniture pieces, and unexpected touches of fun!  You’re sure to be amazed, she’s so talented!
Holly from Down to Earth Style created a mossy star from a metal star and found the perfect way to display it in her entry!  I love this cone scone and all the touches of texture and nature!
Cassie at Primitive & Proper showed off her to die for New Sideboard in our Dining Room.  She waited and hunted high and low for this perfect piece…for sure her patience paid off!  I’m totally green with envy!
Brooke at Spruce Your Nest restored an old hutch into a one of a kind beauty!  Click on the link in her post to see the before and appreciate the after even more!!!  It’s unreal!
Abbie at Five Days…5 Ways transformed a dresser from Goodwill to Good Golly Miss Molly!  I love it SO MUCH!  Coral was the perfect choice in color!
My Indulgences used four dropcloths to transform an old couch into a sofa that belongs in a showroom!  She said, “Once she figured out the logistics, everything went fairly smoothly!”  Looks that way to me!!!
Are you totally wanting to go find a thrift store this second and upcycle some furniture!?!?  Me, too!
Here are two AWESOME recipes for you, too!
Judy from Cranberry Morning shared her recipe for Angel Food Candy, aka Sponge Candy!  Can you hardly stand it how good this looks!?!?  I’m totally going to be trying her recipe soon!
And last, but TOTALLY not least, Kelley at The Grant Life let us in on a little secret, I’d say it’s the best news EVER…especially if you love Caramel like I do!!!  Seriously, ONE CAN of something you probably already have in the kitchen and a crock pot is all you need!  My jaw dropped when I read her post because if you don’t know me very well yet, if there’s one thing I LOVE, it’s SIMPLICITY!!!
