For the topper, I tied a slightly unraveling piece of burlap in a bow. {I wanted to make sure that the tree worked well with my Modern Country Mantle}!
My sweet dog is ready to welcome Dancer and Prancer. She wants to ask Santa if she can help him pull the sleigh! As long as she's home by Christmas morning because we'd miss her terribly!
And here is Little B's tree. Her sweet Gigi started her on a collection of dolls when she was little bitty. We were at a thrift store around Christmastime and totally knew they'd be perfect with a little hook through each of their hats on her pretty white tree! It's darling! She has an assortment of unbreakable balls and some of my old snowflakes on her tree as well! The balls were from Hobby Lobby and I found the snowflakes at an after Christmas boutique sale for 50 cents each nine years ago. After Little B decorated her tree, I wrapped her tree with a silver tinsel rope and some pink ribbon. She loves to keep it lit up in her bedroom! So sweet!
And here again is the Nutcracker Tree that cost all of $5 when I did a little copycat on West Elm's nutcrackers for the boy's tree!
And my "pretty" tree in the front room! Here's a link for the details. Most of my ornaments were purchased at Potterybarn's awesome after-Christmas sales!
If you haven't seen my Vintage Chic Tablescape, here are all the details!
I'll be back tomorrow with my 2011 Family Christmas Letter! Is that dorky that we still do those!?! Do you do one!?!? I just love having a little record of our year's funniest and sweetest moments!
I'm totally thankful for you, my sweet bloggy friends and I totally am excited to share our family letter with you, too!!! I hope you are staying warm, enjoying your loved ones and having a very Merry Christmas!!! XO!

Such lovely photos, thanks for sharing. Happy Holidays to you as well!
ReplyDeleteYour trees are beautiful...all of them. I love the pictures frames on the Hobby Lobby tree {what a deal!!}. I think I would get all mushy, too, if I saw 11 years worth of family pictures at once...how fast they grow!
ReplyDeleteChristmas letters are my favorite from friends and family! I wish more people would find time to write the. It's a great way to catch up on their lives.
Wishing you a Merry Christmas!!
XO,
Jane
PS...I'm new to your blog. Love it!
Love the tree with all the pictures! I bought a bunch of little picture frame ornaments from Michael's when they were on sale a couple years ago, but haven't used them yet. This is definitely making me want to pull them out and have a tree of memories!
ReplyDeleteWe did a family letter too! Glad we aren't the only dorks. Ha :) Love your trees Aimee. Merry Christmas!

ReplyDeleteHi Aimee,
ReplyDeleteThese trees are lovely. Thank you for coming over and following my blog. I am really excited to make contact with you. I am in Germany for my first Christmas with my boyfriend and his family-it's officially celebration day today (Christmas Eve) kicking off after church. Although, I am being greedy and celebrating on both days! I visit Germany quite a lot now; it's a really pretty place. Would love to know where you went etc...maybe it's the same region. Anyhoo! I hope you have a wonderful family Christmas.
