Winter White Wreath {Crate & Barrel Inspired}

Winter White Wreath {Crate & Barrel Inspired}
Looking through my Crate and Barrel Magazine I saw NUMBER 5 {see pic below} and I had a new pep to my step!  I was looking for the right wreath to brighten up this mirror in my dining room, but with all the projects and money that Christmas entails, I knew I had to figure something out that would be SIMPLE!  {My favorite word, perhaps.}
This picture may look familiar to some of my long time friends, but if you’re new…

I grabbed one feather boa, a styrofoam wreath and my favorite tool EVER, my hot glue gun.  With a little wrapping and gluing I came up with this Dreamy Feather Wreath for Fall!  I love all thing birds {with exception to Grackels because they’re just gross}.

I switched it out for my Door Wreath {Framed Ornaments} this Christmas because I was ready for something bright and full of cheer!  I’m LOVING the awesome curb appeal it’s offering!  Although I’ll probably go back to white something at some point because white tends to be my passion!

Instead of totally scratching my adorable wreath {I wasn’t ready for that}….I grabbed a couple of pine cones I had laying around and flocked them.  Then I flipped over my old wreath…

Grabbed my hot glue gun and made the wreath a close repicka to the Crate and Barrel wreath, perhaps just a bit more whimsical.

Back on the flip side I grabbed our meat temperature thermometer {poor manly tool having to play with something so girly and feathery} and poked a hole through the styrofoam and through the hole I pulled a piece of floral wire.  Did a little twist and turn and made a little wire loop.  The loop went through a Command Strip hook and…

Hung SUPER PRETTY on my large upcycled mirror!  It’s like a winter wonderland wreath!  I looped a white ribbon through the wreath and then added a dot of hot glue to keep the two ends together. Another dot of hot glue on the end of the ribbon and that piece attached to back of the mirror.  Truly the wire is holding it, but the ribbon sure does look pretty!

I LOVE it when I have everything I need at home to add a little more Holiday Cheer!

Now be sure you don’t peek behind this wreath and see all the other Christmas pretties I have at work! I’ll be showing you my tablescape tomorrow {I can’t wait ~ just a few more touches}

And I’m hoping to post all my trees this week, too!!!  I totally LOVE this time of year!
