Fabulous Crafty Potential {Repurposed Wood}

I couldn’t wait to show you this! One of my neighbors had finished using this white washed shabby chic planter box with industrial wheels! As we drove by it was sitting on their curb…they were outside! Yep, I did it! It just so happened that we passed by and had to turn around and when we turned around, the house was on Stud’s side! So, Stud got the un-fortunate opportunity to roll his window down and ask if they were really parting ways with this beautiful crafty potential!?! Actually his words were, “Do you not want this anymore?!?” The next couple of blocks down the road Stud got to hear me squeal and dream of all it’s possibilities! My sweet B’s even had some ideas!!! Granted it’s a 4 foot by 2 foot by 2 foot box, I’m doubting it will be an end table, art work, headboard….but dreaming about it is oh so much FUN!!!

Why do I never come across gems like that!!! Its awesome!! Cant wait to see what you do with it!
I can’t wait to see what you do with this. This is one of the reasons I LOVE bogs, I’m always amazed at what others are capable of with a little imagination.
Ooooh! Know what I’d do!? So fun! What if you put a top on it…like an old door or planks and reinforced it. Then take out the backside (the damaged side) and put a shelf in and baskets? If you had a large enough space to use it…it could be like a craft island! Wow! You are soooo lucky! xo
That is an awesome find!
Awesomness!!!
OH man, I’m so jealous right now! What a fantastic find! I can’t wait to see what you do with it, it will undoubtedly be gorgeous! ~Jen

oh my! it reminds me of a barn door I once got that looked much like this…I would love to have several more, so I can fulfill all the possibilities. Yours is a treasure indeed, it could be a bookcase, a bar or if you remove some more boards and upholster a seat in it and add a bunch of pillows it can be a lovely settee. I’m going to keep checking back to see what you do with it!
That’s gorgeous! Looking forward to seeing what you do with it.
I’m currently making some planters for outside but for once I’m not distressing them.
The possiblities with your find are nedless!

Pretty cool piece! Dreaming is half the fun…can’t wait to see what you dream up!
Oh my goodness! I would do the same thing!…in fact I do DO the same thing! lol Even if I don’t know just yet what I’m going to do with something…I keep it in my craft room until one day…voila! Something amazing!
Oh the possibilities!! That’s one of the bad things about living in the country. People don’t drop things off at the curb. Well, we don’t have curbs but that’s beside the point. Most have a ‘dump pit’ at the back of the place where we dump all the things we no longer want. I’m sure there are tons of treasures if one wanted to go treasure hunting. LOL
Looking forward to seeing what you decide to do with it.
Potential potential!

Wow the things people put in the trash amaze me. This wood might be really cool around a mirror or maybe a little magazine rack or something like that
