I think you need to take that awesome "thing" you found the other day and do a wooden faux painted zinc top and use it against a wall for a table, or do a wooden top on it??
ReplyDeleteI had it on my mind this weekend :) Totally cool!

I've seen that library table before and think it is the best idea ever! But now that I've seen the wooden crate bookshelf, I'm going to be buying up all the wood crates I can find on the cheap! Great ideas.
ReplyDeleteI'm really liking the inspiration pieces you've picked out. Reclaimed wood is the best!!! Can't wait to see what you do.

I have lost hours of sleep thinking about that 4th picture of the white washed bed, LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteThese are all pretty inspiring. Where do you get the pallets from? Is that a stupid question?
ReplyDeleteGreat question! We have a neighbor that gets rid of them all the time...sets them out for bulk trash! I've heard though that factories and stores are getting rid of them all the time and will give them to you!!! Once you have an eye out for them you see them everywhere!!! Normally close to dumpsters!!! Let me know where you find one!!!

Love them all! I've never seen the cute little spool library before. It's awesome. I'm anxious to see what you create with your new old wood lol ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks Erin!!! I have yet to have my hubby check it out for wood rot and bugs and such!!! I'm crossing my fingers for something BIG! I totally crush on the little library spool, too!!! XO, Aimee
DeleteLove the Library table! These are all beautiful projects.
ReplyDeletewow so much creativity here .... thanks for sharing these beauties .. hugz x
ReplyDeleteI love these! We've been exploring pallets for a while now. So far we've made a pallet coffee table and used baskets for drawers, it's really awesome, if I do say so myself. And a chicken coop! We stuffed straw between the layers of the pallet to provide my urban birdies lots of insulation against the elements.

Love the library table! If I weren't trying to REDUCE the number of books in my house (and therefore, my bookshelves), I would have to hunt down something like that:)
ReplyDeleteThat spool table is to die for! Not too functional in our house. With an 11 month old, crawling around, surfaces below 3' are empty! Great inspiration pics here. I'm visiting from Miss Mustard Seed.
ReplyDeleteThe possibilities are endless to say the least. I would like to make a sturdy stool chair for the kitchen out of drift wood.
ReplyDeleteAaaahhhh! Love a good re-purposed project! I just found your blog! Going to snoop around now. Your newest follower. : )
ReplyDeleteSmiles!
