Pallet Bed & More {Reclaimed Wood DIY Possibilities}

Pallet Bed & More {Reclaimed Wood DIY Possibilities} are so incredibly fun!  I’m pretty sure reclaimed wood is the best thing EVER!  Like seriously, it makes my heart skip a beat and my dreams EXTRA sweet!!!!  Here are my two best finds so far:

•  Curbside Trash to Kitchen Cart in less than $20

•  Recycled Old Fence Boards for free

And now I have this beauty to dream about:

•  DIY Fabulous Potential Using Reclaimed Wood

Here are some of the ideas I’m tossing around and dreaming about!  Wishing you good luck on SPECTACULAR junk finds, too!!!  We’ve been busy with cub scouts, basketball practices and games, school, birthday parties…and on and on!  I need my hubby to look at it and give me an opinion on how salvageable it is!

    There’s nothing wrong with using reclaimed wood around the house to serve a good purpose. It’s all about creativity.

    The possibilities are endless to say the least. I would like to make a sturdy stool chair for the kitchen out of drift wood.

    Love the library table! If I weren’t trying to REDUCE the number of books in my house (and therefore, my bookshelves), I would have to hunt down something like that:)

    Love them all! I’ve never seen the cute little spool library before. It’s awesome. I’m anxious to see what you create with your new old wood lol 😉

      Thanks Erin!!! I have yet to have my hubby check it out for wood rot and bugs and such!!! I’m crossing my fingers for something BIG! I totally crush on the little library spool, too!!! XO, Aimee

    These are all pretty inspiring. Where do you get the pallets from? Is that a stupid question?

    • Aimee - says:

      Great question! We have a neighbor that gets rid of them all the time…sets them out for bulk trash! I’ve heard though that factories and stores are getting rid of them all the time and will give them to you!!! Once you have an eye out for them you see them everywhere!!! Normally close to dumpsters!!! Let me know where you find one!!!

      XO, Aimee

    I’ve seen that library table before and think it is the best idea ever! But now that I’ve seen the wooden crate bookshelf, I’m going to be buying up all the wood crates I can find on the cheap! Great ideas.
