So much good has come out of this tough chapter and I now know that God had a specific purpose in reminding me of His faithfulness this Sunday. He wanted me to have my eyes on Him as He perfectly provided for me and my family this week! Knowing that His faithfulness never ends, I want to take today and be still and know that He is God, Psalm 46:9! I want to thank Him for giving me hope through each season of life. He is always loving and good.
If you use instagram, you already know that my sweet B’s and I spent all of Monday hopping around to fun playdates with friends…the saddest part of our day was watching Texas Tech Red Raider’s baseball team lose to Texas Christian University. Serious bummer. But we got over it fast because we had lots more fun ahead! {And if you don’t use instagram, I think you should totally get it because it ROCKS! It’s so much faster to keep up with your close friends through instagram than facebook, just saying, sign up okay}.
Monday was way different than the norm for us and not just because it was Spring Break and we did a whole lot of playing. My sweet hubby was out of town for the night. After three interviews here with a position he was dying to get, he was sent to headquarters and escorted by limo for his final interview with the big boss. Stud totally was blasting it in that interview, and I’m not the only one that thinks so….he returned home and then we waited for two really lllllooooonnnnnggggg days for the phone call. Relief! Late yesterday morning the phone finally rang and we received a formal offer! We’ve been on cloud nine ever since! This is the right company, manager and position for my sweet hubby! God is good!

Hi Aimee,
Enjoyed your post, and so happy to hear your hubby got a new job. Don’t know the circumstances but I thought it might be that he was laid off for a bit. We went thru that a year and a half ago for 13 mos. and the Lord sure can teach you a lot, happy to report my soon to be 64 yr. old hubby got the best job he has ever had and didn’t have to take a pay cut or anything. The Lord
never ceases to amaze us. We shouldn’t be………yet we always are……..He really does do exceedingly abundantly more than we can ever hope or ask!!
How cool that your hubby got a pic and an autograph of the Subway guy! Very Cool……….
Have a great weekend,
Blessings, Nellie
“Eat Fresh” I love it!!! You know we have been through the same highs, lows and highs! I am so glad God has blessed y’all with this!
Hugs!

I truly feel blessed by your blog, as your posts always seem so “relevant” just at the moment they post. If you’d be willing to provide me with some
Congratulations
encouragement via my email, I’d truly appreciate it! My hubby is in a very similar position…waiting over 1 1/2 weeks for announcment about a position which he interviewed for, and would be SUCH a blessing for our family (long story) We’re feeling discouraged (which I know we should NOT…as it is His will and not ours)..perhaps it’s our human weakness (our faith should be a mustard seed, not a poppy seed, right LOL…how wonderful your hubby’s experience was; a limo to boot! Did he receive many “no’s” before his resounding “YES” ? Thanks so much!
God bless,
Elizabeth (homeschooling Mama to five lovely ladies

Thank you for sharing your testimony of God’s faithfulness. It has been a long journey for me and my family too. But God is so good to give times to just rest in His loving care. I’ve loved your blog since I started. I’m glad to share your faith too. If you have time, drop in and I’ll share my heart with you too. What a blessing you are!
Aimee, that’s AWESOME!! Congrats!! What a blessing and answered prayer!! When does he start??
Did Lonnie say that if Jarod the Subway guy is nice in person?? I hope so! I would hate to find out that he’s a big rude meanie
.
What a wonderful week for you and your whole family! I am grateful to you, and your acknowledgement of God in your life. It helps all of us through each day to know of your personal testimony.
Thank you,

I love that verse- it’s a good reminder!
The verse is done in a striking manner.
Came here via someday crafts.

What an encouraging post! Since I found out I was prego (Jan.2011) till now, I feel like I’ve been on an emotional roller coaster. (Pregnancy & post-partum hormones on top of being a new mom can be difficult at times.) Thanks for reminding me of God’s goodness & faithfulness!
