Simple and Savory Crockpot Lasagna

When making recipes with my crockpot, I like to layer a quick coat of Pam Cooking Spray before beginning.  A simple cleanup makes a meal an even bigger success!  We absolutely love this savory lasagna!  I like to combine the ingredients the night before in my crockpot and start heating it up after lunch, that helps keep the edges from getting to toasty.  But if you have a crockpot that switches to warm that totally is a great option, too.  I’m so excited for you to try this, you’ll love it!

Simple Crockpot Lasagna
1 (15 oz.) container Ricotta Cheese
1 cup shredded Mozzarella Cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan Cheese
1 egg
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach-thawed and squeezed dry
1 envelope Lipton Vegetable Soup Mix
1 (1 lb. 10 oz.) jar Prego Pasta Sauce
8 no-boil lasagna noodles-uncooked {break to fit pot}

Combine Ricotta, 1/2 cup Mozzarella, 1/4 cup Parmesan, egg, spinach and soup mix. In a 6 qt. slow cooker, layer pasta sauce, cover sauce with noodles, layer more pasta sauce and 1/2 of Ricotta mixture.  Add more layers in the same order. Top with remaining noodles and sauce.  Cook covered on low 4-5 hours. Take off the lid and top with remaining cheese. Replace lid and cook 10 minutes longer. Let sit before serving.  Enjoy with garlic french bread and a garden salad.

  2. YUMMY! I’m going to have to try this out!

  3. That sounds good, Aimee! I have to try this with the gluten free lasagna. I always spray my slow cooker with Pam and then someone told me about liners they make for the slow cookers. I haven’t tried them yet because the Pam works fine for me and I wonder if I really need to be spending the money on the liners.
