I shared my Simple DIY {Wall Knob} on Crafting in the Rain. Here it is in case you missed it…
For a couple months I’ve been planning on making a wall hook into a piece of art for my little girl’s room. I love organization and figuring out what Little B will wear on schooldays is often the cause of a bit of well, hmm, how do I say it nicely!?! Differences of opinion. I thought, maybe if we came up with a plan the night before it would make life a little easier for both of us! And having a pretty place to display the next day’s outfit definitely makes implementing the plan more fun.
I drilled a hole in the center of my rosette and picked up a cute little drawer knob from Hobby Lobby. The options are endless there. Choosing one was a bit of a crazy task!
I put the knob through the hole of the rosette and then used a hacksaw to trim the screw so that it was flesh with the rosette wood block. I let Little B select a ribbon which we attached with hot glue….my Fave! {For heavier clothing, you may want to drill a small hole into the top corners of the rosette and pull your ribbon through and then tie a knot to secure the ribbon.}
I love her new wall hook, it looks real cute in her room! We’re in the middle of transitioning her bedroom from baby girl pink to a room with a splash of color! I’m hanging on to some neutrals in there by incorporating black and white into the design as well. My
house tour shows the pics from her sweet little girl’s room. Soon I hope to add some “after” pics {if the two of us can figure out a good compromise}.
Some days we hang her outfit up with a hanger and other days, we just hang a simple dress on the hook without a hanger. If you’re curious about this little dress,
here is the link to our newest favorite store to shop for Little B’s clothes!

That is so adorable! I never would have thought to do that.

Thanks so much Allyson!
That is such a great idea. Now there is no more stress in the morning!
Thanks so much sweet friend!!! XO, Aimee
What a great idea – to get the morning started off right. I remember the days when I put plaid polyester pants with my striped shirts – not a good look!! Hopefully, this will make sure that doesn’t happen!
Thanks for linking up your Cinchy project.

That is just so darling Aimee! I love that idea of using it to hang out clothes for the next day.
