Thrift Store Finds I Adore | Mason Jar Quote

I’m pretty sure there isn’t anything as relaxing as vintage – antique – thrift shopping!  I overheard Little B telling her friend that when mommy goes thrift shopping she comes home in the best mood!  Can any of you SO relate!?  This Mason Jar Quote…tells it all!  “….antiquing…salvaging, thrift store-hunting, crafting…vintage adoring…spray painting, and glue gunning, blog surfing…upcycling…look-what-I-made-kinda girl!”  Perfect, right!

Isn’t looking at this picture and not being able to rummage through it just killing you!!?  This antique store is 61,000 square feet of eye candy and entertainment!!!

One of Little B favorite items to collect is tea cups! She’s VERY proud of her collection!
I totally wanted to walk away with this cute little table!  It’s perfect for Spring!
I love the detail in the foldable leaf!
I also have a thing for aprons!  Pleats are so this season!  I had to grab this….
I wonder if I can find a few more half aprons and sew myself a cute vintage ruffled apron like this one!  It’s so cute!

And this is why I try to leave my three Sweet B’s with their Daddy on my Antique Shops…LOL!  I do bring them with me sometimes, they absolutely LOVE all the treasures, but for the most part, I think antique store owners prefer not to have little grabby hands in all the tight corners!

Where are some places in Texas you go thrift/antique shopping?

    • I absolutely love taking trips to Mckinney Town Square…that’s where I grew up and it’s just the best! Most of the time I stay in Fort Worth. This was at the Montgomery Street Antique Mall! Prices aren’t the best, but SO MUCH inspiration and dream potential!

  2. Oh I love love love thrift stores – I am definitely going more this summer (now that I have the excuse of shopping for my house…a year from now)!

  21. Okay, I’ve always wondered what half-aprons are good for. Is it just for wiping your hands? When I use an apron, I’m trying to protect my shirt just as much as my pants!
