This time of year, it’s all about salads at our house!
Here’s the recipe for our homemade…
These are the ingredients you will need…Dijon mustard, balsamic
vinegar, olive oil, honey, garlic and shallot, both minced salt and pepper.
vinegar, olive oil, honey, garlic and shallot, both minced salt and pepper.
Favorite Balsamic Vinaigrette
1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon honey
1 shallot, minced
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Combine the ingredients in a mason jar, place the lid on tightly and shake well. The ingredients will stay combined for up to a half an hour! Simple and sweet! We LOVE this dressing! Drizzle on your favorite salad and enjoy! Leftovers can be stored in your refrigerator!Perfect compliment to Grilled Chicken Salad with Dried Cherries!
