We used to hang out there some times when we lived in the OC.
Balboa Island is a great place to go walk around and see really cool beach front houses
Can I get a frozen banana from the Big Yellow Joint? Or whale watching may be kind of nice, too. Or visiting the Cohens!
Shopping golfing and dining. Looks fabulous.
Someone would have to come and peel me off the beach– I would never leave
So, I love all the family friendly activities we could do, but is it wrong that if I won I would totally leave the kids home and have a nice relaxing vacay with my husband? Because, yep! That’s what I would do!
I visited Newport Beach back in 1984 and loved it! My family has never been there and we would love to enjoy this beautiful seaside town doing some shopping and spending time on the water. Thanks so much for a chance to WIN this awesome trip.

This looks like a wonderful vacation! I am a triathlete so the beautiful beaches and warm water would be a the ultimate place to spend my time! On the Newport website it also said the best resturants are there, near the water…and I LOVE food!

Wow, this would be so great for my son who served a church mission in the Newport Beach (Anaheim mission) area. He lost his sweet girl last fall (see: everydaycourage.net) and this would be a great diversion for him. Would be wonderful for him to visit with families and friends and visit places such as Balboa Island and other areas that he was unable to. Thanks so much for the chance! We visited Newport Beach when our oldest was 5. We would love to take our two younger kids back and explore the town and enjoy the beach again!

I looked at the events and activities that Newport has to offer and I have to admit, I was really surprised. Balboa Island, learning how to surf from a surf camp, the Newport Aquatic Center, hiking and biking trails, and the Gondola rides. Those things sounded fun and I would definitely try to do them all.
