Balboa Island is a great place to go walk around and see really cool beach front houses
We love Newport! We love to visit the Mormon Temple, and also go to the beach to see the tide pools and explore. Such a beautiful place to be! I wish I could live there!
Can I get a frozen banana from the Big Yellow Joint? Or whale watching may be kind of nice, too. Or visiting the Cohens!

So, I love all the family friendly activities we could do, but is it wrong that if I won I would totally leave the kids home and have a nice relaxing vacay with my husband? Because, yep! That’s what I would do!
I visited Newport Beach back in 1984 and loved it! My family has never been there and we would love to enjoy this beautiful seaside town doing some shopping and spending time on the water. Thanks so much for a chance to WIN this awesome trip.

I love Newport Beach pier, Balboa Island, the boat tour, and all the sea food!
You’ll love NB!!! Check out the dunes, it’s perfect for smaller kids without all the crazy waves. Head down to balboa fun zone and ride the ferry over to some of the most beautiful front homes and games and ferris wheel. Also down on PCH go visit Sprinkles for some cupcakes and travel another 15 min and visit Trasure Island where is breath takingly gorgeous!!!! I live here and love it!!!

We landed in New Port Beach one year because air fare was cheaper than going to LA. We have good friends that live nearby and the view from the plane as we landed was gorgeous. I have traveled a lot in CA but haven’t spent much time at this beach. I would LOVE to just sit on the beach and enjoy the views!

I love to spend the day at the beach. It’s so nice and relaxing.
My favorite thing to do in Newport Beach is walk around Balboa Island looking at all the cool cottages.
We’d love to go hiking in beautiful scenic nature and would like to try body boarding that sounds like a lot of fun. Go on a boat ride and if it’s possible to watch whales there like someone else mentioned we would soooo love that!

This looks like a wonderful vacation! I am a triathlete so the beautiful beaches and warm water would be a the ultimate place to spend my time! On the Newport website it also said the best resturants are there, near the water…and I LOVE food!

Wow, this would be so great for my son who served a church mission in the Newport Beach (Anaheim mission) area. He lost his sweet girl last fall (see: everydaycourage.net) and this would be a great diversion for him. I would finally get married and then enjoy the beach. My honey and I have been engaged for almost 4 years and have planned to get married on a beach several times, but I got very sick and the money went to medical bills. If we didn’t have to pay airfare or hotel, we would be able to afford the small beach wedding we have dreamed of and relax and have fun on the beach.

As a full time childcare provider (14 kids!)I think it would be heavenly just to lounge around on the beach and admire the ocean all day. Not to mention not having to cook any meals..(Or change any diapers! Ha!)

I looked at the events and activities that Newport has to offer and I have to admit, I was really surprised. Balboa Island, learning how to surf from a surf camp, the Newport Aquatic Center, hiking and biking trails, and the Gondola rides. Those things sounded fun and I would definitely try to do them all.
