Best Boy Rooms {Neutral and Classy}

Along with planning some Summer Funto keep my sweet B’s entertained while we’re taking a break from school, my boys want to switch their bunks to twin beds this summer!
Best Boy Rooms EVER, both Neutral and Classy!
1. In this room, I love just about everything. The bedding is perfect, I always prefer quilts over fluffy comforters because they’re easier to make sense they stay put while sleeping. I love the gallery wall and the texture accent in the walls of this room.
2. I like that this bedroom is a similar coloring to the wood in my boy’s beds, but it doesn’t seem to be too dark. I like the black and white art prints and I always like striped bedroom. My favorite touch is the distressed bat holder.
3. I love the reclaimed wood wall with the vintage tennis rackets. I also think the splash of color on the next wall. I think the large striped bedding keeps this room youthful. The trunk at the food of the bed is both practical and a great design touch, and the industrial light fixture totally finishes the look.
4. This bedroom has tons of creative touches. I love the artwork made from clip boards. How great would it be to have this for my boys to display their everchanging newest masterpiece. I love the words above the bed with the definition. I think it would be great to find inspiring words for my boys and frame this. I love the desk, although I don’t think I’d want metal on my hardwood floors, and I think the rug is perfect.
5. I currently have drapes similar to these and I think they’re great because they help darken the room at night…I love anything that assists my boys getting a few extra zzz’s. I probably wouldn’t imitate the Union Jack artwork because I prefer personal touches, but something out of canvas similar would be easy to make. Hmmm, I’m thinking on this. I also like the bin at the foot of the bed {although uncovered, I wonder if it’d end up being an eye sore!?!?
6. Again, loving the pinstripe bedding. I also like the caged clock and the framed pennants. And of course, the trunk is perfect. I also these these two-toned drapes are gorgeous. On the desk, I like the drawer sorter.
7. The galvanized buckets are sunk into the bookshelf for small toys…combined with the galvanized wall mounted lamp – BRILLIANT!
8. I totally love the idea of framing a collage of my son’s latest interest…how cool would it be to have Big B draw them!!?
9. This room has great boxes and cute storage totes with numbers. Very retro looking. I also love the black and white street sign. I wonder if I could figure out a way to do a DIY on this….I think I have an idea! I love the layers of this bedding.
10. I think the Beige brown Grass Cloth Wallpaper adds the perfect amount of texture and if my boys had their say, this would be the exact set up to their room. If this were the case, I’d need to switch to roman shades because I would want them out of the way with the beds against the windows.
11. I’m tempted to make my boy’s beds into upholstered boxspring with added furniture feet and then selling their bunks?!?! I love this look and it’d be fun to make something on those bunks rather than having the ladder and accessories chilling in the attic!?!? I wonder if they’ll want to go back to bunks or if that phase is over?!?!
12. I’m in love with this mirror and I love the similar, but not matchy-matchy bedding. It would take just the right bedding to duplicate this. The deer heads totally ROCK!
13. I like the unexpected touches in this bedroom. I like the rug and the skull, and the touch of life on the nightstand. I also like the framed windows with roman blinds. The lamps are very cool and the gray layered bedding is basic and would definitely be able to be used for years.
14. This room has a gorgeous gallery wall above the beds. I have a few prints I’ve put aside from thrift and garage sales, this makes me want to keep on hunting. The random assortment is priceless.
15. I like the striped pillows on this bed and the geometric pillow on top, although I wonder if this would be too trendy for my boy’s room, I’m hoping to find something that will last. There are many other rooms in the house I like to redecorate over and over, my boy’s room, I just want to fix it and enjoy it as is. In this room, my favorite design element is the lights that are mounted to this shelf. I think now this isn’t as necessary, but as my boys get older, the dividing line may be important.

16. And of course…back to the stripes. They’re just perfect for boys rooms! And I love the rustic feel here by incorporating reclaimed wood into the room!
17. I love this airplane mobile…my boys would have a BLAST making this with me…I wonder how many days it would stay intact before they figured out how to disassemble!?!? So cute!
What do you think!?! Any other design elements that
MUST be included?!?! I’d love your thoughts sweet friends!!!

I dunno, I liked the RH ones but they are all so good!
I love the Restoration Hardware ones…actually I love all of them! Boys rooms can be so hard, and if you have a son like mine, he likes to get in on the decisions! Good luck deciding!

Shelley – You are cracking me up…I thought my boy was the only one that had opinions! Oh my! I totally hadn’t expected his “help.” Hahahaha! XO, Aimee
Lots of great inspiration! Love the one with the plaid walls.
These are all great and give me inspiration however where in the heck are all the toys?
Melissa
LOL! Seriously…I’m wondering the same thing Melissa!!! Maybe scattered through the kitchen and living room!?!? XO, Aimee
Such great inspirations, I love how rustic so many of them are. We must be getting back to our roots, with little boys loving the outside. I’m so craving doing (another) boy’s room that I offered to do our friends’ son’s room just for fun!
