Pretty Plants in My New Tall Planters

It is definitely summer…we’re well on our way to triple digit temps and I’m trying to incorporate as much fun for my sweet B’s as possible {here}. After soccer camp {here} and swim lessons, and before baseball practice, I made a quick stop at my favorite nursery! If you stopped by my blog yesterday, you know I’m loving the tall planter style {here}. I have a couple of my own to fill on my north facing front porch! I picked up a few other plants, too…hard to refrain!
Here’s what I decided to plant on my porch…I {HEART} Hostas!
Baby B was LOVING the Hibiscus!
I was surprised by all the help I was offered when we arrived home.
I’m pretty sure they could have planted completely on their own!
Hosta Blooms are so intriguing!
I chose the white planters! I’ve been wanting to brighten my drab porch
and these are definitely a great first step in the process…I can see a difference already!
Big B placed the heavy little planters on the porch for me.
I’m LOVING it!
And below…with a little Photoshop…one change I’d like to make to this porch.

And ten minutes later…a downpour!
More front porch updates will have to wait till this rain subsides.
