Beautiful Antique Furniture and Accessories

I popped into Urban Outfitters and found this gorgeous bedding display. I nearly picked up the entire arrangement and carried it to the register! I’m still finishing up the boys room and have other house projects hanging. Not to mention school starting back soon and my hubby’s birthday quickly approaching! I’ve promised myself that I’ll check some projects off before starting new ones. I grabbed a picture so I wouldn’t forget this yummy eye candy, then made my way to a fun antique store in search of items truly on my list!
It ended up being one of those days, where the list just wasn’t getting anywhere because everything I needed was no where to be found and everything I didn’t need was blinding me with it’s beauty! I mean seriously, can you even imagine showing up at an antique store with a 6 foot tall chandelier painting plastered on the brick exterior? I quickly became giddy. I couldn’t get inside fast enough! The antique shopping here did not disappoint, there was tons of beautiful antique furniture and accessories!
One of the first things to catch my eye was this scrolly, chippy side table.
Followed by this antique chair with a tufted pink cushion.
Windows are a DIYers dream! Talk about endless possibilities! From a picture frame to jewelry holder….about this point I wanted to completely scratch my promise to wrap up my unfinished projects.
More pretty white accessories. I would love a mirror like this for Little B’s eventual bedroom makeover.
I’m pretty sure I’m going to dream about this dresser tonight. Too bad someone else had already made it beautiful, the price made it out of the question.
Definitely on my list is to finish up the silhouettes I started a few months ago. I can’t wait to have silhouette pics of my sweet B’s hanging. Those have been on a major delay…another good reminder of why I’m holding off on starting anything new. Life is constant. Anyone else struggle with that same issue!?!?
One of my favorite contrasts for frilly and fussy is the addition of a deer antler (remember my tablescape)! I love this antler spray painted pink, I’m storing this idea away for the day Little B’s bedroom makeover tops my list!
When that day comes, I’m happy to have started a little brainstorming! Crossing my fingers my nine year old sweetie still likes her mommy’s taste by the time I get around to her room…mommy friends…how much time do I have left for that to be a possibility!?!

LOVE THAT PINK TUFTED CHAIR! I would have snatched that up in a second!
i love the bedding from UO especially that round pin tucked pillow!!
Oh my goodness, I love every single one of these!
My nine year old girl started really asserting her opinion (which very characteristically first born girlish, is usually the complete opposite of mine) around 10 1/2. She turned 12 in May and is fully in her own world… I wouldn’t waste too much time if you really have a strong opinion! It may not last long!
Love that dresser. Went to a flea market yesterday and had the same problem. The furniture that I loved had already been made beautiful by someone else and costs too much for me. I was going to make it beautiful myself with some ASCP.
oh well . . . .
I’m so jealous! While I love antiques my hubby dose not! It seems that I with my passion for art and crafting will be shared with bloggers, and not my husband. I keep my hopes that one day I will come home with a beautiful chair like the one you showed and he will say “I know right were that should go” and not in the trash. Oh well. I loved seeing all the pictures. All I did this week was make a shirt, http://www.arosiesweethome.com/2012/07/make-yourself-cute-shirt.html
Hope you are having a great day!

I would have rushed in behind you! I’ve been looking for just the right dresser for ages. Either too beat up or too much. I love old windows too. Found one at an estate sale earlier in the year and turned it into a glass collage.
