First Day of School

First Day of School…
My sweet B’s did GREAT…Mommy didn’t do as well (let’s just say thank goodness for waterproof mascara). I’m thinking after I see they survived today…tomorrow will be a lot easier!?!? Am I right!?! Thanks for all the prayers sweet friends! I feel truly blessed! XO, Aimee
PS Driving around looking for school supplies is a beat down…next year I’m ordering the PTA boxed set!

Aw, hugs Aimee! I cried the first day of kindergarten but that was it. Now it’s like – “off you go” in my best fake sing-song voice!
They looks so cute!!! Are they doing uniforms? Little B looks a tad nervous, but I am sure she did well!
aren’t school uniforms the best? they save me a lot of money. that being said, let me be kind in saying your daughter’s jumper is way too short for my taste. i hope she has shorts on underneath.
I do love school uniforms! The dress looks short partially bc of the camera angle and partially because she’s a toothpick and off the charts skinny for her height! She always wears shorts under her skirts or dresses!
Uhm, that actually wasn’t very “kind”. Kind would have been more like “Hey since you’re new at the whole uniform thing, make sure your cute daughter has shorts on underneath her jumper. I’m sure your school has a policy on length, as does mine, but her long legs shorten her jumper. Just a thought from one mom to another.”
So true my friend. They are always in God’s hands, weather they are at in our homes, or at school. He is who takes care of them. So don’t worry….he is big!

So precious!! I just love them! Yes, next year get the PTA pre ordered school supplies. As a former teacher, it is the way to go too because then everything is the same.

Go with the PTA box! It is a God-send! And if it’s like our school it helps needy special needs young adults who help pack and ship.
