In August, the heat almost becomes unbearable here in Texas! We are constantly pulling out the blender for smoothies.  I totally think smoothies are perfect for every occasion; they’re healthy, delicious, and filling!  I’ve found that adding Silk to my smoothies enhances the creaminess!  And if you make a few to share and add a little island music, a pool, and some beach decor, you have a super simple pool party with friends!  I found a real fun site that has TONS of great smoothie recipes, Silkology Facebook.

Silkology Pina Colada

1 cup Silk Pure Coconut Original or Vanilla
1 banana
1/2 cup pineapple chunks
1/4 tsp coconut extract
1/2 cup ice

Mix and Garnish.
