This Hamilton Bean Iron also has a retractable cord…SERIOUSLY! And guess what!?! Giveaway time!
One super lucky It’s Overflowing Reader is going to win a Hamilton Beach Iron, the Durathon™ Digital Iron with Durathon™ Nonstick Soleplate ($49.99 Value) like my new iron that I love!!! I actually despise ironing, but could use a new one since mine leaks.
I hate ironing…too boring!
I would like ironing if I had a good iron I suppose..I have rheumatoid arthritis, and its just hard on my shoulders..but I iron anyhow!
A good iron is a must for a quilter… would love to test drive this one.
WOW, I’m intrigued by this!
Okay maybe I’m weird, but I LOVE to iron! I think it’s for the same reason I like to vacuum, there’s instant gratification in seeing the wrinkles disappear (or the dirt being picked up) and I love how immediate it is. Makes me feel accomplished
When I was younger I actually enjoyed ironing, not so much now.
I love Ironing. The sad thing is that my iron just broke, so I am hoping to win a new one. My kiddos have knocked it off the ironing board one too many times.
Wow – awesome looking iron! I would love a new one as my other iron didn’t survive a move. wah wah….
I don’t mind it because I don’t have much ironing to do!
I truly do not like ironing, but maybe this would help
. My mother loves to iron, and even irons her sheets ?????
I would love ironing with this iron. Now, not so much.
HATE ironing! My husband and two boys are always wearing button-up shirts so I feel like I’m always ironing…
I rather enjoy ironing. It’s actually relaxing to me. This new iron looks awesome!!
Ironing isn’t my favorite, but I love the look of pressed clothes so I iron often!
I loathe ironing, but only because it takes me forever to do. My iron is ancient though. Maybe that’s why?
love/hate relationship x.x
Years ago, I began praying for the person whose clothing I was ironing. With a family of six it gave me a lot of time to pray specifically for that person. I soon forgot about the chore and focused on the person.
And it sure helps to have a good iron like the one in this giveaway!
As of recent I haven’t had to iron often, but I do enjoy it, yes. I like to see the wrinkles flatten right out.
I do not mind ironing, but my iron is broke! I could use this one!
I love to iron – when I was young we ironed everything – I find it relaxing and satisfying!
I don’t, because I get frustrated – fortunately my military husband is an ironing expert!
No. The clothes I iron do not look any better if I did not iron.
I do not enjoy it, but realize it is a necessary evil. However, I do enjoy seeing my clothes freshly pressed and ready to wear. They may stay wrinkle free for only 10 or 15 minutes, but at least I looked put together for a moment.
Thank you for the giveaway!
I hate ironing, but I love to sew…in order to make beautiful things I HAVE to use an iron more than once on a daily basis
I don’t love ironing, but I don’t hate it either. I don’t own an iron! If I win, I guess I’ll need a board, too…. LOL
New follower from Thee Networking Blog Hop. Great to find a DIY blog and looking forward to more!
I hate to iron, but having a good iron will certainly help with my attitude.
I actually do like ironing! It means I’m breaking out some fancy clothes =)
i think pressing is ok but ironing- you can’t tell i tried and i usually burn myself
I do not like ironing. It takes so much time, and the clothes are wrinkled 5 minutes after you put them on.
No because I get so hot doing it
I really like the way freshly pressed clothes look on my kiddos and hubby. So I do it so they look nice!!
I really dont like it now, but that is because my iron keeps leaking ick on my clothes!! maybe a new one would help
I don’t love ironing because I am no good at it!
I hate ironing because I can never get creases right.
Hate it with a passion. And because of this, we have a good relationship with the dry cleaners! But if I had this iron, I may save us some money!
I don’t mind ironing once I get started, just making the initial effort is a problem for me.

I enjoy having my family wear wrinkle free clothing….and ironing itself relaxes me

I don’t like ironing because it can be time consuming.
I actually enjoy ironing and could really use a new one!
I don’t love it, but I can manage it.
I hate ironing & do it so rarely which is odd because my mom actually likes it & does it extremely well (clearly I learned nothing of it from her)…this would be for her.
I hate ironing but it’s a must-do in some situations.

I dont love ironing but I like to look sharp and put together, so I do it while I watch tv.
I like watching the wrinkles leaving the clothes.
I do enjoy ironing.. I like the way the clothes smell and look after..
I would love to try this new iron.
I would love this iron
My iron is old, as I have been married for almost 38 years! But, I do enjoy it. I look for low cost vintage linens at etatae sales and wash and iron them. They are beautiful and I love to use them in my home.
I remember as a little girl, watching Andy of Mayberry. My Mom always had Dad’s dress shirts to iron. She had a glass bottle with a sprinkler and would sprinkle the clothes then roll them and put them in the laundry basket and then iron them. She started me on Dad’s cotton hankies and pillowcases. Later she would have me iron Dad’s dress shirts which were hard to do. I never disliked it and it is kind of fun.
Thanks for the giveaway…don’t exactly love doing it, but it’s part of my morning routine, touching up my dress shirt for work !

Well…s I don’t mind ironing, but I only iron as we wear. Thart come from living in a. 1920s house with very small closets. A good iron is a must.
Loving the iron. I’ll have to buy one of those. Ironing is a necessity. On a good Saturday with Gunsmoke on, I’m good.
