World Market Shop, Tablescape & Giveaway

September 4, 2012 by 5 Comments

My lunch schedule has totally opened up now that I’m not a teacher during the day.  Do you know what that means?  The couple who rarely dates now has the option to date all the time!  We met at World Market over lunch the other day and had a lot of fun!  I had plans to have a couple girls over to chat later in the week and decided to throw some fun touches on the table to make it special…where better to find a variety of items than World Market!?  I’m telling you…we had a blast!

I love the kitchen utensils, table decor, furniture, glassware, and especially the exported goodies, my favorite: Milka Bars!  To keep things simple, I chose to go for a Santa Fe inspired theme and when I saw these hammered metal bowls, each under $12.99, I threw a couple in my cart for chips and salsa.

Speaking of Chips and Salsa…I picked up a bag of chips and jar of salsa, too!  I’m amazed by the variety of cuisine: hence the word ‘World’ – right!

My lemon squeezer that I absolutely adore is from World Market…they also have an assortment of mason jars for a great price.  Did you see the blue mason jars that look totally vintage?  I showed them to you, just $2.99.

And with a World Market aqua ruched scarf (yes, I will be wearing this when I clear away my tablescape) draped across the table, I placed a gorgeous Woven Basket atop and inside layered it with cute turquoise necklaces, super-cute blue glass candleholders, and hammered metal bowls with chips and salsa all from World Market!  Come on over girls…let’s enjoy a little southwestern fun!

What a great way to spend a day! I just entered into the sweepstakes. Santa Fe is a perfect place to visit and having a chance to cook amazing dishes too? And for free! Definitely win-win. :-)

I love World Market! Their dinnerware is awesome. I just did a tablescape post with some of their dinnerware and rattan chargers last week!
