Ready for the Big Game…
January 15, 2013 by Aimee • 19 Comments
It’s football season! As a mom of two boys, my little girl and I have learned to embrace all the fun wrapped up in the excitement of the Big Game! We like to make things special, while staying grounded with simplicity! Here’s one of our favorite pizzas! If you haven’t tried this kind…it’s a MUST! So good! Pastorelli brand at World Market is our ABSOLUTE FAVORITE!
I also picked up this table runner, some rattan pieces, Limonata and Dad’s Root Beer, and that super cute vase set…LOVE!

When I’m hosting a party, I love to make World Market my first stop…there are so many items I don’t see anywhere else…it totally gets my creative juices flowing! I found everything I needed for the football party I’m hosting on February 3rd…snacks, dinner, dessert, and drinks! I make it a point to allow myself lots of extra time to peruse all the home decor and furniture items…LOVE!
I’m not the only one who loves shopping at World Market! All three of my sweet B’s have a blast checking out the toys and party supplies! I tucked a few of these toys into my basket to entertain the kids while we’re watching football!
The other day, I read an article about Olivia Manning — Peyton and Eli’s mom — the First Lady of Football. Her meal of choice for the Big Game — Jambalaya! I’m making some ‘Market Classic Soup Mix: Jambalya’ for the Big Game! I can’t ever leave World Market without throwing ‘Market Classics Soup Mixes’ into my cart! My favorite is the Spicy Tortilla Chicken. I went out of town recently (to visit my sister) and left the pantry stocked with these. It’s crazy how easy it is to prepare 8 cups of intense flavor!

Love your ideas! We too host the big game day party. We typically do the usual fare of homemade poppers, wings, pepperoni bread, meatballs (lots of snack food) but this year we are roasting a full pig. We did it for our cinco de mayo party last year and everyone raved about it. Our buddy has been roasting them for years and it makes for a full day even that everyone enjoys. Not your traditional football food, but I tell you what..that fresh pork is to die for.
Oh my goodness Christina…You’re quite the entertainer!
XO, Aimee
Homemade pizzas are such a great choice, everyone love them! I always forget about World Market, such a treasure trove! I will go by there this week, thanks!
Thanks Jenna! If you haven’t tried their pizza crusts and sauces, to die for…AMAZING! Soups, too! Wish I could meet up with you for a fun little World Market fix! XO, Aimee

Love browsing World Market! Looks like the three B’s had an awesome time filling up mom’s basket!
They did Moni! It’s one of the stores I can actually go to and they’re excited about it! XO, Aimee
Ditto on the love for World Market. I was just there and didn’t see the chalkboard labels, and the soups look yummy, so thanks for sharing those! Living in Indiana means our game day must = baked pork tenderloin sliders (I discovered when I moved here that tenderloin sandwiches to Indiana are like lobster rolls are to Maine).
I love knowing the party traditions of different areas Kerry! Enjoy your Baked Tenderloin Sliders…sounds delicious!!! XO, Aimee
Oh your Pizza looks delicious, Aimee. I love the SEMI- homemade part
