Springtime with Tulips Visa Card Giveaway

February 18, 2013 by 291 Comments

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of iBulb for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Springtime with Tulips is my favorite!  When I was in high school, my family took a trip to Holland and biked up and down the gorgeous streets, ate at corner bakeries, and were mesmerized with the beautiful rows of tulips on every corner — I have had an infatuation with them ever since!  The people of Holland are amazing!  iBulb supports 85 Dutch companies in the dry sales and forcing business, which together represent more than 90% of Holland’s flower bulb business.  They have given me a $25 VISA gift card to purchase potted bulbs from my local florist/grocer to use toward a “pay-it-forward” gift for just the right person and a $25 VISA gift card for one of my readers so they can “pay-it-forward” with a gift of potted bulbs to someone they love!  Awesome, right…I’ll give you the scoop on how you can WIN — in just a second.   Here’s the scoop on my “pay-it-forward.”

Grocery Store Tulips ItsOverflowing

I was checking out facebook the other day and saw that one of my sweet friends had fractured two bones in her wrist, bowling of all places.  I knew just the thing to cheer her up…a flower that would help her welcome spring, Tulips!  I love that potted bulbs can be found at grocery stores, garden centers, and flower shops.  Having three kids, I’m a regular at the grocery store — I love a gift that is so convenient and cheerful!

Tulips Favorite Flower for Easter ItsOverflowing

I went ahead and picked a pot up for myself, too!  They’re such pretty additions to any decor setting and I have a million pots so I can change the decor and color to fit my style for the season!  For my girlfriend with the broken wrist, I thought a galvanized pot with a cheerful yellow and white striped bow would be the perfect way to dress up her surprise gift!

I love the addition of a chalkboard label to a glass vase and pink tulips.  Such a great gift this Spring!

And when my tulips start popping up in my garden, I plan on doing a few arrangements like this in my house.  This is a perfect tablescape for my Easter table because it’s so low and great for conversation — pretty sure the first part of the conversation will be about the cute short stemmed tulip arrangement!  Springtime with tulips is meant to be!
