This year, my goal is to Get It Organized! Recently, we’ve been tackling our Food Pantry Organization! I spend so much time in my kitchen, having it look nice and functioning great is huge to me! Check out the picture below…who wants sliding doors for a pantry!? Thankfully I have a very studly Hubby that knows how to build what I envision! And three little helpers that jump into every single one of our DIY Projects! I’ve been trying to come up with a great use for our space and below are some of the most Creative Ideas I’ve seen anywhere!
A little background…this was our starting point!
OXO POP Containers aren’t cheap, but when you think about how many years you can use them, I think of them as a great investment! AND, lately I’ve been seeing them at HomeGood Store and TJMaxx! I think this system is totally genius!
Labels are totally key to keeping a pantry functional! I love that this website has every label you could imagine available for free download!
The back of a pantry door is another often unused space. I love this spice rack added to the pantry door.
Wire baskets are such a great storage option, keeping food in the pantry sorted, but still visible. There are several I’m crushing on at The Container Store.
Cabinetry that pulls out helps keep a pantry from becoming a deep dark pit of chaos!
I have a thing for Chalkboards! These cabinets painted with chalkboard paint are the perfect space for planning a weekly menu and jotting down the grocery list. Before leaving the house, use your iPhone to take a quick picture of the list! Love it!
This pantry wall with a quatrefoil design would definitely be a labor of love, but would totally make baking and cooking more fun! I love a pretty presentation!
The way I organized my spice rack could easily be used to organize canned goods — and the price is definitely right! I love adding a bit of rustic into a whole of white and bright!
The key to an organized pantry is being able to access everything so you don’t have to dig through layers to find what you need! I love this idea of adding Lazy Susan’s to shelves!
I love these galvanized buckets hung on the wall in the pantry. Perfect storage solution for food packets (oatmeal, snacks, hot cocoa, etc.) that usually take up too much shelf space!
And last, but not least, I love a pantry door with a pop of color or vintage flair! (The door pictured is actually an old screen door – too cute).
There are so many ways to update a kitchen, totally gutting — to just refacing cabinets.
