Birthday Stuff Using Washi Tape

Little B’s already started brainstorming birthday stuff!  And a good part of her party plans includes using tons of Washi Tape.  (Washi Tape is a lot like Masking Tape, except way more color options).

As much Washi Tape as we’ve accumulated, I’m thinking I need to look through my closets and try to find a metal hanger that I can shape similar to the picture from Lili Scratchy.  Seeing all the color options is so great — and I always appreciate a brilliant storage solution!

And to make using our washi tape even easier, this idea from My Paper Pinwheel is awesome.  What a great way to recycle a tape dispenser that would otherwise end up in the trash!

Can Washi tape be used outdoors for marking specific plants that you wish to dig up when whether permits? Seeing the Washhi tape flags gave me the inspiration but don’t know if it is weatherproof. I was going to try to make them with colored duct tape and wire until I saw this.
