I rarely do these ‘try to look hot’ pictures! LOL. I’m definitely more comfortable behind the camera than in front of it! But I found some fun deals this week (kids were at day camp so I shopped more than usual). I had extra motivation to shop for myself — an invite to The Container Store Private Grand Opening Party — I LOVE all things Organization! I really wanted to wear my Kate Spade dress, but Stud thought it’d be a little to formal (ended up being such a mix of styles, I totally could have worn my pretty raspberry dress), but not having an outfit to wear ended up having serious benefits!
My blouse is Mossimo from Target and so is the necklace — which I found for $10. I love the boldness of it! And my jeans were a splurge at from Neiman Marcus’ outlet store a couple months ago — they’re Miss Me brand.
My clutch was a Nordstrom’s Junior Department find — seriously one of my favorite places to buy costume jewelry and accessories! The price tag on the clutch was $10.98. I’m such a PICKY handbag girl. I had walked the entire mall and when I saw this one, I knew it was a definite YES!
And the shoes were another crazy bargain! Charming Charlie had all their red sticker sale items an additional 50% off — ready for this — $2.98!
I asked on Facebook this week for nail polish suggestions and their were some great ideas! Peach seemed pretty reoccurring so I ended up with Essie, Peach Daiquiri and LOVE IT! I always know I can count on you for helpful tips!
After getting dressed, I said goodbye to my three crazy sweeties and was on my way to the Container Store Private Preview Party! Lucky, right.
The new Container Store is directly across from Central Market. This shopping center has lots of great stores. When I read “Private” Preview Party on my invitation, I had no idea all of Fort Worth had been invited. There must have been 150 valet guys and girls getting behind the wheels of cars, driving them across the street to the high school parking lot, then running back across the street for their next round.
Check out Fort Worth’s new location! 25,000 square feet of organizational bliss! A live band was playing the whole evening and the event was beautiful, tasty, and totally FUN!
This arrangement was at the bar (aren’t those flowers beautiful)!
And you can’t write an article about The Container Store without including a few colorful hangers!
And on just about every other aisle, there was an creative, one-of-a-kind display for a huge variety of party foods!
Aren’t these cake pop colors totally YUMMY!
The variety of food was amazing — we made a lap around the store tasting it all!
I use my drawer like this to store gift sacks! You wouldn’t expect anything less than an organized event hosted by The Container Store, right.
Avocado Cream Soup…
Utensil holder with Coral Roses…
Bread Sticks in Magazine File Boxes….
And my personal favorite…
The Container Store originally opened in Fort Worth twenty-two years ago, and was the 8th location ever. This 25,000 square foot storefront is much more impressive than the previous 14,400 location. I love that my favorite store had a super cute party, that I got to go too, and that their store is even more dreamy than it once was! Sweet Organization Dreams for me tonight!!
