Starting an Herb Garden

This post brought to you by FrogTape brand painter’s tape. All opinions are 100% mine.

Did you see the fun package UPS brought me on instagram!?!  As promised, here’s a fun tutorial using one of my favorite DIY accessories!  Have you heard of FrogTape painter’s tape before?  Used it?!  I’ve retired the blue stuff because this stuff is over the top awesome!  It is the only tape treated with PaintBlock® Technology, a super absorbent polymer that reacts with the water in latex paint and instantly gels to form a micro-barrier that seals the edges of the tape, which helps prevent paint bleed.  Check out this fun pot I customized with the help of FrogTape® for the porch.

What’s your favorite herb!?  Mine is Rosemary!  I enjoy the fragrance all year long, it’s pretty, and it’s versatile for cooking!

The previous owners of our new home left this cute pot on the front porch and I thought it could use a little personalizing!  I made a rectangle using my FrogTape®.

And covered the clay pot with three coats of chalkboard paint.  FrogTape® Multi-surface. FrogTape® Multi-surface, a medium adhesion painter’s tape designed for use on a variety of surfaces including unfinished wood, metal, glass, carpet and stone.  (It works great on clay pots, too).

After the paint had dried, I pulled away the tape to reveal a PERFECT line!  It’s a beauty, don’t you think!  If you’ve taped off with the blue stuff, I know you’re amazed, too!

FrogTape® is available at participating Lowes and Walmart locations, and all Menards, Ace, Sherwin Williams, True Value and Do It Best stores across the United States.

I think I need a few more clay pots with herbs, don’t you think!?!  Which herbs do you think are must haves for everyday life?!!  Suggestions!?!?
