If you saw my Fall Mantel you may have noticed my favorite DIY Burlap Garland! I love adding banners to my mantel, hutch, mirror — all over the house! It’s such a fun and simple way to make a holiday or event special! About six months ago I picked up this DIY Burlap Garland from Michaels and I’ve used it so many times I can’t even count! Let me show you why I love it so much –
It comes with lots of flags with the letters already painted on. Each flag has two grommet holes making it easy to change the ribbon color and style depending on the words describing the celebration or event. It’s durable and –
It comes with enough letters that I can use it for so many sayings. ‘Welcome Home’ >> ‘Give Thanks’ >> ‘Congrats’ and so many other phrases that deserve celebrating!
Here’s when Daddy came home from a business trip (pic from our rancher house) I can’t believe it’s already been two months since we moved!
And today I shared my Fall Mantel and once again the cute and practical burlap garland worked perfectly! David Tutera, you did good!
I haven’t been into Michaels in a while so I’m crossing my fingers you can still pick this up, but if not, it is on Amazon OR you could totally take a few hours and make your own set to be used over and over (the letters listed on the box above will help you know which letters to duplicate and how many hearts to make)! All this is vinyl letters ironed onto burlap triangles and two grommets along the top of each.
