I have three sisters who sweetly advise me on what I should write about on my blog. The other day one let me know I should totally start sharing Christmas tips. Here’s a great one — Uncommon Goods is a great go to store for unexpected, creative, and unique gifts that I totally love! They feature artists, handmade goods, and environmentally sound merchandise. They also give back with their Better to Give Campaign which donates a portion of each sale to a non profit of your choice. Shopping never felt so right! If we start shopping now, we won’t be in a total crunch come December!
FUN GIFT IDEAS
Aqua Farm (here)
has totally rocked our world — even Berkeley loves Buster. It was extremely easy to set up (everything we needed was included – even a coupon to get the fish). And the idea is genius! The Aquafarm keeps your fish happy, lets you grow fresh herbs or other plants, and doesn’t need to be cleaned. In just one week our herbs are already sprouting without soil and without me watering them. There’s a pump in the center of the tank that allows the water to reach the plant roots and give it the perfect amount of moisture and nutrients. As we start updating our kitchen, I’m sure you’ll be seeing lots more of our cool ecosystem!
