Decorating for Christmas – Guest Room

I’m finally ready to start showing you how I’ve been decorating for Christmas!  At our last house I made this little Wall Art Display for Little B’s room.  Although it would still look great in her room, I’ve moved it into my new guest room – it was way too bare!  I didn’t think I would have a guest room in this house, but after living here for a month, I realized it made more since to consolidate the boys rooms.  I moved their bunks into the playroom — the spread of their toys in two separate rooms just didn’t make sense.

When I moved the boys upstairs into the playroom, I switched Little B’s room, too.  Her room had a LARGE window that opened to the front the house.  This room was the only room that didn’t seem very private in our home so switching her room made my heart happy.  The big bright window in this room is perfect for my guest room!  And top secret it’s going to get some use very soon!  (Big B heard that Moni and Pa are coming for a visit very soon and swore us all to secrecy — he wants to surprise, Little B, Baby B, and his daddy) — and in case you’re wondering — he doesn’t read my blog, it’s just for us girls!

I wanted to add a touch of Christmas to this room with my sweet in-laws coming for a visit!

A little IKEA tree (I have three of them and will probably buy another next year – they’re the perfect size).  I love the mini ball ornaments from IKEA, too.
