Displaying Christmas Cards

December 20, 2013 by 5 Comments

My absolute favorite month to check my mailbox is December!  We’ve recently moved so cards are still trickling in as friends are getting our updated address and each day it’s such a treat to open cards of friendly faces from years past!!!  This year I’m displaying my cards a little differently.

I have this huge frame with a galvanized, magnet backing.  At my old house I used it in my office.

When the first few cards arrived, I found it in the garage and leaned it on my piano.  I added a wreath with mini-ornaments from IKEA – similar to what I have on my entry tree.  (My new deer head was a HomeGoods find).

One night, our elf, Buddy drew a little self portrait – a fun Christmas card for BBB.  He knew exactly where his card belonged!

Over the last few days, our board has continued to fill in with cards from sweet friends – I use Tiny Mighty Magnets.
