A Little Valentine Decor

January 28, 2014 by 9 Comments

Last year, I made a little Valentine Decor — Love Word Art.  I ran out of time to share it with you because we were madly involved with our photography tutorials!  This is such an easy craft to pull out year after year, I think you’ll have fun making it, too!

I picked up some Vine Wrapped Craft Wire and found some red yarn in my little girl’s room — she loves finger knitting.  I formed the wire into the word ‘Love’ and then wrapped it from beginning to end with red yarn.  I wrapped and wrapped, then tied a knot.

Last year I hung my little ‘Love’ reminder on shutters and leaned the shutter on the shelf above the sofa in my front room.  This year, I am using my word art on my entry table — it is becoming quite the hub for my holiday decor!  (I’ll show you soon).

Last year, I also picked up this cute, felt heart garland from Target.  I hope they have it again this year so you can get pick it up, too (has anyone seen it).  Mine will be hanging on my new mantel soon  — time to start adding some color with February fast approaching!
