Valentines Day Wreath

February 10, 2014 by 6 Comments

Did stores skip Valentines Day this year or did it all get snatched up in record time!?!  I searched every storefront known to man this girl for a cute little ornament to add to my Simple Boxwood Wreath for January and found nothing!  Totally bugged, I gave up and decided Green was the New Pink!  And then out of nowhere, Target has these on the shelf for just $3 — I love that store!  Check out my (almost) New Valentines Day Wreath!

And the timing couldn’t have been better!  This weekend was our annual Daddy Daughter Dance and with the pop of pink on the wreath combined with Little B’s sweetheart dress I can hardly stand it how much I love this pictures.

Little B wanted to dance nearly every song with here daddy and Stud enjoyed every minute of it — knowing one day his smooth moves would be totally uncool to his baby girl!

I have been told by both that this was the best Daddy Daughter Dance they’ve ever attended (and they’ve been to some amazing ones).  There was a craft table, a balloon artist taking requests, a photobooth filled with fun props, a table to take pics and make a little button with daddy and his little girl, someone taking professional pictures (those will get emailed to us), a spread of deli meats, cheeses, and chickfila nuggets, a huge table with bowls of candy and little cups for the girls to sample everything, another table with desserts, fun lights and music, and a dance floor that got a whole lot of use!

All that to say, thanks again Target for having exactly what I was wanting for a price I was willing to spend!  It’s fun to have my wreath looking cute with it’s pink ornament and then walk on in and see my new cute pink pillows!  Love is in the air!
