After Gray Owl was rolled all over these walls, we switched the furniture around like we talked about yesterday and it was love at first sight — totally meant to be! Check out Little B’s New Room!!!
The black lamp is carryover to when Little B wanted a black and white bedroom. I don’t think I ever showed pics from that stage!?! She’s a little bit like her mommy — loves change! I apologize now to her future hubby. (sorta).
Finally, I had the motivation to start hanging art on the walls (it had all been in boxes for way too long).
Her window in this room is much smaller, but still lets so much light inside!
This desk that we found on CraigsList a couple years ago –
Little B loves to sit on her little window seat and watch the birds outside her window. She’s always been bird obsessed — has been able to recognize tons of varieties by their song from a very young age.
I had a large black and white wall collage in Little B’s old bedroom and at this house, all three walls have black and white prints.
The fourth wall is full of COLOR (more color is still to come)!
Some of the pics are Little B Originals, some are sweet pictures that she found in the garage and chose to have me hang, and a few came from my new very favorite thrift store not far from me. Get this Julia, the store has a cat with pink painted fingernails that curls up on a different chair or bed each day so you never know where you’ll find her. Crazy fun, right! And the chevron B was from Hobby Lobby — she threw it in the cart as soon as she laid eyes on it!
The trim in the room and bed are white so I see a change happening for this shabby cream night table before too long!
Window treatments are still definitely needed! I’m leaning towards a roman shade that will let her open her window to nature easier.
And between those two doors on the right, below — her closet that I’m so ready to make amazing!!! Did you see on instragram, I just happened to stop by my favorite store — a little something for this closet was definitely tossed in that overly stuffed cart!
