Where Feet May Fail – Share Your Creativity Party

April 12, 2014 by 14 Comments

Welcome to Share Your Creativity Party • No. 109.   I prefer the simple road, the easy life.  As I made the unexpected flight to see my mom before she passed, I pleaded for hours that God wouldn’t take me deeper, I didn’t think life could go on.   As much as I would love to have my mom here with me right now, I have no doubt that her days were perfectly numbered here on earth.  In so many ways I can see God’s beauty in the midst of my suffering.  I’m so thankful that my faith isn’t dependent on me, and I’m thankful that when I am at my weakest, He is so generous with His strength.  His unfailing love is my greatest treasure as He leads me by faith through this stretching season of life!  He is very much in the details and someday I’ll share more, but I want you to know that as much as I hurt, I am definitely not alone and my hope is only growing!  I have had Oceans | Where Feet May Fail on repeat for the last few days.  More than ever before, I want Him to take me deeper than my feet could ever wander because I know that my faith will be made stronger in the presence of my Savior!  Here’s one of my favorite quotes from the song!

    Hello Aimee Lane!

Yes, I’m sure it’s sad to lose a parent, I lost my dad 18 years ago and I still have my Elder mother, but I know our days are numbered and specially for our aging parents, as they would be closer. No matter how much we know, we still suffer and miss our parents. Only God comforts us and our families.

Thank you so much for hosting
    Have a lovely Sunday.

  5. Beautiful words, Aimee. I love this song too and it reminds me so much of what your family is walking through right now. You are right where He wants you to be, in His presence trusting Him with each and every step you take. Have a wonderful week.

  7. Losing my precious mom a few years ago after her battle with a blood disease…and then to unexpectedly lose my dad only 4 years later…I know the pain. But I know that God gives strength when we need it, and carries us when we don’t have enough! Our faith is made stronger through our trials…and we are better able to care for and comfort others who are suffering!
    God is using you!
    Blessings,
    Cindy

Thank you for sharing your faith walk so openly with us all via the internet. I am firmly convinced that God gives us experiences like your Mother’s death to grow , and my husband disabling health conditions to give us opportunities to share how great our God is. My blogging is very new, and it takes second place with caring for my husband and my full-time job. Your bold testimony is my desire too.

Your last printable from Psalm 91:4 is next to my computer!

    Blessings,
    Sandy
