Fourth of July is one of my family’s FAVORITE holidays!  Nothing like watermelon, grilling out, and celebrating the USA!!!

My kids love to make Paper Sparklers here’s what you’ll need –  fun straws and vellum paper — red, silver, and white at your local craft store.

Carefully cut the paper in thin strips, leaving the top portion attached by a little over an inch.  Older kids will be able to cut these strips, but younger children will need help.

When the strips are cut thinly, use scissors to separate a small section and to trim some length from the tassels.

Roll the removed paper and stuff the attach the uncut portion into the straw

Love this! Just pinned it. Now, I was wondering if you might have time to stop by my Wonderful Wednesday Blog hop this week (goes live Tues 7pm EDT) to share this? My readers will love it, too.
