Ready for another Dreamy Dwelling Home Tour!?! I am so in love with this Gorgeous Traditional House Tour. It is totally understated and at the same time, very elegant. I think you’re going to find it real dreamy, too. How can it not be after being designed by the Southern Living Idea House Design Team!!?
A large wraparound rear porch to enjoy the water view is perfect for entertaining. I love these oversized pots filled with ground cover — anything large would interfere with conversation!
I still don’t have a sunburst mirror yet — someone kick me in the rear to get that going. This entry table leading up to the second level is so inviting and is great useable space.
The two-story interior core of this house is planked in wood. And the windows allow lots of natural light and a view I could sit and stare at for days.
I need this chandelier above the dining room table — the ceiling fan currently there isn’t cutting it. Isn’t it beautiful?! And so is that orchid — they were always my mom’s favorite, but they don’t seem to ever like my windows.
I have wanted a basket of birch logs by my fireplace for years — totally bumping it up on my must have list this Fall.
This is the ‘clutter room’ as they call it — that makes me laugh because it’s so crazy organized. Don’t you think all houses should be a builder must have?!! An out-of-site dumping grounds for the kitchen, living, and dining spaces.
Now my favorite room in the entire house — the kitchen. The chandelier is such a piece of art and the island is absolutely beautiful.
I love a good combination of beauty and function!
The floating loft space creates a wonderful retreat to read a book or steal a quiet moment with a friend.
I wouldn’t change a thing in this bathroom — might just use it as my inspiration for my hall bath.
And the framed upholstery headboard in the guest bedroom is totally giving me a creative itch. Simple, but interesting.
And equally as beautiful is the master bedroom with drapes that I’m obsessing over! About time for me to do a little IKEA Hack with my white curtains.
Amazing, don’t you think! What did you love about this house?! This Palmetto Bluff beauty is on the market so you can make it your own.
