I home you enjoyed your long weekend! It’s been a great couple days for our family, following weeks of CRAZY…for those of you who follow on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, you know I’m in the middle of a kitchen remodel! Despite having a contractor that has quit three times (we finally wised up and took him up on his offer the third time around) my dream kitchen is coming together!!! I’ve shared lots of the process along the way and still have more to tell you, but today I am joining some of my favorite blog friends and sharing a Fall Printable and Vignette to hopefully inspire as we are coming up on the holiday season!

A little peek at how far we have come on our dream kitchen. The guys finished up the floors earlier this morning so don’t look closely, there’s still a whole lot of dust!
Major improvement from where we started — Badly Designed Kitchen.
Have you remodeled a kitchen before?!?! The process has definitely been exciting and the results are amazing, but I had no idea how much energy a remodel takes — even when it is completely hired out!
Nothing is more important than loved ones gathered in my home remembering sweet moments from the past and soaking up new memories that will forever fill our hearts with gratitude! I grew up in California and one of my favorite memories was our family’s annual road trip to Apple Hill, followed by a weekend of mom making homemade applesauce, apple pie, and canning lots of apples for the months ahead. It seems like just yesterday and after losing my mom a couple months ago, this memory is more precious than ever before. I foresee my family enjoying quite a few apple pie evenings this fall!
A little about the decor —
Last Fall I made this DIY Rustic Votive Holder and have been LOVING it ever since!
And I always find a use for my World Market Wooden Bark Charger.
Since adding the marble, my favorite IKEA cutting board is getting tons of love. The dough bowl was a fun find years ago when I use to live around the corner from a fabulous vintage store. I haven’t found a place so golden since moving into this newer traditional home.
My pie plate was a fun Home Goods find.
And above my new range, I hung my Burlap Banner. I wrote about how it’d be a simple DIY project (here). This fall, in the midst of all the holiday bustle, I am giving myself visual reminders to carve out time for what is truly significant!!!
