Better Together – Free Print

Welcome to Share Your Creativity Link Party • No. 140.  On Black Friday, rather than fight the crowds, my little family hit the road early for a day trip to East Texas.  We were in search of a Pine Tree backdrop for our Family Picture!  It took a while to find just the right spot, but we found it and I’m real happy with the results.  I’m so thankful to be married to a man that values photography as much as me!!!  On the way home, we stopped by First Monday Trades Day in Canton, Texas and found a few items for under the tree and a cute little tree for our dining room (long story short, I owe you a ton of pics).  Coming home my heart ached for my mom, we had always talked about shopping in Canton together, but that day never came.  As tears began to roll down my cheeks, I was reminded that even though the loss is huge, her answered prayers for me are very much alive today — the blessing of a sweet husband and the gift of beautiful children!

  1. Awww, your comments about your mom really touched my heart. I’m sure it was bittersweet being in Canton. I drove through there this summer, but have never stopped. I’m down the road in College Station and a few ladies I know do the drive every other month or so. I should do it sometime! Thanks for hosting!

  2. I know you all miss your Mom so much. It certainly helps to get the tears out. I am praying for you during this season. The 2nd anniversary of my mom going to heaven was the week of Thanksgiving. It is still hard, and I miss her, but it is starting to get easier.

  3. Wonderful Party!

  4. Thank you Aimee for hosting Share Your Creativity no 140. It is a pleasure to join in. My Mom is in my thoughts a great deal this year. I miss her and am remembering so many childhood Christmas’ past with smiles and a few tears and a full heart.

  5. Thanks for hosting another great party and for the cute printable! xo
