Home for Christmas – Kitchen

Welcome back to my Home for the Christmas Tour.  We finished walking through the family room, so today let’s move into the kitchen where my Christmas decor is minimal by choice.  Home for Christmas – Kitchen! My favorite touch of Christmas in my kitchen is my little collection of Bottle Brush Trees in pastel colors.  I totally have a thing for bottle brush trees, I’ve shared a couple fun vignettes on instagram this week!

My bottle brush trees are on a super cute Vintage Cottage Cake Stand, sitting on my breakfast table.  The cake stand is actually a set of three.  Right before my daughter’s birthday party I saw them on Shannon at Fox Hollow Cottage and had to have them!  They were an online purchase from Decor Steals.

I recently swapped my kitchen and dining room chandeliers.  This one was black and in the dining room, but my kitchen needed a fun pop so I gave it a couple coats of white spray paint and had it installed above my breakfast table.

When I had my kitchen remodeled, I opted out on adding pendant lights above my island because I didn’t want to obscure the view between the family room and kitchen.  This little bit of fuss was just what this open concept room was needing.

On the cutting board that sits by my over-sized sink is a little white tray with three snow covered mini-trees.

Over a year later and I’m still storing my mason jars in my wire 3-tier glass drying rack.  I don’t think I’ll ever go back to keeping these away in a cupboard, it’s so convenient.

Hanging above the professional range I bought a little over a year ago is my diy coffee filter wreath.  My sister and I made this during a Friday Crafting Day, we need to plan another one soon, it’s been too long!  The metal Merry Christmas sign hanging from the wreath was a Target Dollar Spot find!

The other day Evie, our Elf on the Shelf took over my cutting board.  She thought it’d be fun to spill flour all over the place and make snow angels.  She’s wearing her super cute sweater that my little girl picked out for her when we were at Michael’s Craft Store.

The trees didn’t mind being pushed aside for our playful little elf!

I have a thing for cup towels, I can’t ever buy enough…they’re all so cute!

This silver and gold cup towel was just a couple bucks.  Love it!

And my kids very favorite touch of Christmas in our house is our mason jar Hershey Kiss Countdown to Christmas!  Mommy and Daddy get a kiss before they get our sweeties get their little chocolate!
