Hill Country House Tour

It’s time for another Dreamy Dwelling Home Tour.  This custom designed Texas transitional has amazing curb appeal and a great open concept floor plan. There is just so much I love about this house! Let’s not wait another second to walk through this Hill Country House Tour.

An extended length foyer table combined with an oversized chalkboard is perfect for greeting guests.

Dark stained hardwood floors, gray walls, and thick white crown molding.

Attention to detail at every turn.  Love the stained wood staircase with picture gallery.

Subway tile with dark grout covers the walls in the kitchen.

The layout of this kitchen is great.  Tons of storage, but open for great flow of traffic.

Chef’s kitchen with Thermador appliances, built-in 48 in fridge, white subway tile to ceiling and an oversized island.

Stunning living space features 12 foot ceilings.  Every single light fixture is perfect.  And that farmhouse sink is to die for!

I love a farmhouse table with metal side chairs and slipcover captain chairs.

Long crisp white curtains on thin dark rods is so timeless.  I’m on the lookout for moss covered spheres to top my dining table this spring.

Not a huge fan of wet bars, but they made this space functional and attractive.

A floor to ceiling Austin stone fireplace with exposed cedar shelving on either side.

Family room is my favorite.  Whites, browns and silvery blue tones look amazing.

Great choice in pillows on that distressed leather sofa.

Office is functional with the addition of a desk and chair that are full of character.

Oversized garage with room for workbench or fridge, mudroom with sink. Tons of storage!

Chevron rug, metal bed, nightstands with lights, and a rustic trunk.  Love it!  I have a sweet-spot of simplicity.

Beautiful tile on floor and in shower and lovely marble countertop.  I need to pick up some silk hydrangeas and put them in a vase with neutral toned rocks.  Simple decor for a guest bathroom.

Vintage bed painted white, a beautiful quilt, lovely white drapes, and a sweet banner above the bed.  A bedroom fit for a princess.

Soft pink shower curtain, an oversized framed mirror, and beautiful Bianco Romano granite countertops.

Gorgeous Cedar Fence is the perfect backdrop to this beautiful backyard complete with a fireplace!

Which is your favorite room in this house?

Beautiful home! Do you know what material was used for the kitchen counters?

    • My guess would be that this is some sort of a soapstone countertop.
