Darling Southern House Tour

It’s time for another Dreamy Dwelling Home Tour. I’m loving this adorable expanded bungalow.  Let’s not wait another second to peek inside this Darling Southern House Tour.

Bricks have been painted a soft gray color. Vines protect the front porch from the harsh afternoon sun. Loving the cement pots on either side of the front door.

One of the first renovations I did to my 1950s rancher was painting the fireplace brick white. Painted brick brightens a room and allows for a more neutral palette when decorating.
The chevron drapes are from Hobby Lobby which are a total steal when you use one of their online coupons.  I love that the length of these is longer than standard drapes.
A low bookshelf has been added on either side of the fireplace and the windows have added trim.  Potted plants above the bookshelves adds great symmetry and a nice natural touch to the room.
The home has beautiful hardwood homes throughout.
The cathedral ceilings in the living room are beautiful.
Anyone know where this media cabinet can be found? I love it!
I love my IKEA white sectional, but if I were to do it all over again, I’d be really tempted by this rustic leather sectional.
Darling dining area open to kitchen. Such precious silhouette portraits.
Gorgeous chandelier above the dining table.
Huge pantry to the left. I’m loving the trim throughout this home.
Shaker cabinets, marble tile backsplash and stainless appliances.
Wooden breakfast bar with sconces above.
Gorgeous glass upper cabinets with white dishes.
Romantic master suite with his and her closets.
Symmetry continues in the master bedroom. Lots of windows for natural light.
Tufted upholstered bed is so timeless.
Bath with repurposed vanity and built in shelving.
Oversized shower with white subway tiles.
These open shelves are so adorable.
 Family room is so cozy.
Beautiful fringe on bottom of the curtains.
Great ledge on this headboard.  Perfect space for collectibles.
Shower with white subway tiles.
Boys bedroom with bunk beds.
Another bathroom. This tub is so my favorite!!!
Amazing screened porch with fireplace and deep fenced back yard.
Such a dreamy backyard escape.  My family would use this fire pit nightly.

Which is your favorite room in this house!?

  1. Wow, thanks for sharing. I really liked the planters and candle holders on each side of the fireplace. The separation of the dining room and the room with the fireplace was done really well as well, almost seamless. Great design.
